Method
Flexible roles
In the pre-course, you’ll meet two guides: Ermanno and Oliver.
At the start of each unit, you decide whether you’ll work as Ermanno (who has some knowledge of German and acts as a 'tutor') or as Oliver (a total beginner).
You can switch roles from lesson to lesson: by repeating the exercises, you’ll quickly move back and forth between Oliver’s and Ermanno’s viewpoints.
Even if you’re studying on your own, alternating the two roles lets you see the language from different angles: first you “discover”, then you “explain”.
Three recurring activities in every lesson
⇒ Nachsprechen (repeat): Listen to the audio files and repeat them until the sounds feel natural.
⇒ Match words, sentences, and pictures: Align words, sentences, and pictures to internalize both meaning and form.
⇒ Abschreiben (copy down): Transcribe short texts or dialogues to strengthen spelling and visual memory.
Comprehensive Learning Tools
⇒ Illustrations that let you guess the vocabulary straight away.
⇒ Audio tracks for rhythm, intonation, and self-correction (handy even without a partner).
